Salary: $24-27/hour (based on experience)

The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate cash application, timely collections, and strong customer relationships. This position works closely with internal teams to maintain clean receivables and support month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply customer payments accurately across multiple payment methods
• Monitor open receivables and follow up on past‑due balances
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing questions and payment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the accounting system
• Partner with internal teams to address account issues and improve collection outcomes
• Review account activity to identify variances and assist with resolution
• Prepare basic reporting related to receivables and collections
• Support month‑end close and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities independently
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
