We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support complex billing operations. This role supports invoice generation, submission, collections, and month-end close processes, while partnering closely with accounting and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit customer invoices based on contract terms and service rates
- Analyze contracts to ensure accurate billing structures
- Submit invoices through online billing portals (EDI, CSV uploads, Service Channel, Ariba, etc.)
- Monitor invoice status, track rejections, and resolve discrepancies
- Post payments (ACH, checks, wire) and maintain accurate aging reports
- Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies
- Process credit/debit memos and billing adjustments
- Assist with month-end close, including accrual support
- Support collections efforts and customer dispute resolution
- Prepare reporting and analytics using Excel
- 2–3 years of Accounts Receivable or billing experience
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP required)
- Understanding of accruals and their role in month-end close
- Experience working in Oracle
- Experience submitting invoices via online portals (EDI, CSV files, client portals)
