Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Tampa, FL (Westshore Area - Onsite)
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close, including variance analysis and supporting schedules
- Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Support internal reporting and assist with financial statement preparation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial data
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelors in Accounting or similar
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
- Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Proficiency in Quick Books (QB) or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
