Accountant – Path BI & Reconciliations

Accountant

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and dedicated teammate to join our team.

• Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
• Perform monthly ATM, cash and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor ATM cash usage for assigned divisions and work with Brinks to adjust standing orders as needed.
• Resolve vault cash balance differences and manage courier delivery issues.
• Primary responsibility for CRM new supplier and change approvals.
• Match and enter mill weights to settle shipments.
• Review accounts receivable and follow up on missing mill weights and payments.
• Apply cash to open AR.
• Work with Nucor Business Technology team to resolve brokerage and metals group interface issues.
• Primary responsibility for handling helpdesk support tickets assigned to the group.
• Address issues with security/access, shipment reversals, payment & ticket voids, freight issues, and other related problems.
• Coordinate with transaction accounting software support to resolve issues that cannot be corrected internally.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 3‑5 years of accounting or equivalent experience.
• Bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, or accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Desire and aptitude for promotion, including relocation.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power
  
  BI.
• CPA and/or an advanced business degree.
• Manufacturing or public accounting experience.
