Accounting Senior; CAAS - Retail Industry

CLA is currently seeking a Senior to join our CAAS (Retail Industry) group. Locations:
Tampa, FL;
King of Prussia, PA;
Minneapolis, MN.

• Client Service:
  Develops an understanding of each client’s business/organization operations. Competent in management of multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions:
  Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Month End Processing:
  Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals). Completes complex account reconciliations (investments, debt, industry specific, etc.). Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements (basic to complex). Reviews general ledger, cash flow, allocations, etc. Proactively creates process and procedure documentation and builds own backup.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing:
  Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s; prepares audit work papers, tax return work papers, and other required documents for clients.
• Supervise Work Flow:
  Oversees workflow and quality of work performed by Associates and Analysts. Supervise and ensure the efficiency and quality of work produced.
• Special Projects:
  Assists with internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Salary range for the Minnesota office: $65,100 – $113,000.
