WHAT IS THE ROLE?

As an Accounting Intern, you will support our team in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients. This role is designed to provide hands‑on experience with real client work while building a strong foundation in accounting practices. You’ll gain exposure to multiple industries, systems, and projects while learning directly from experienced professionals.

WHO, WHAT, AND HOW?
  • Internship based in Tampa, FL.
  • Hands‑on support with bookkeeping activities such as reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Exposure to industries such as medical, manufacturing, restaurants, professional services, construction, and more.
  • Collaboration with accountants, controllers, and business optimization teams.
  • Ongoing mentorship and training, including one‑on‑one development opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN AND DO:
  • Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
  • Processing invoices, deposits, and bill payments.
  • Payroll journal entries.
  • Sales tax filings and reporting support.
  • Monitor financial documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow established processes for maintaining accounting integrity.
  • Learn how to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Use Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and accounting software in a professional environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience preferred).
