What we offer- Salary: $23 - $25/hr

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for all accounts payable functions within the organization.
Essential ResponsibilitiesA high school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in Business or Finance is a plus. 1‑3 years of Accounts Payable processing experience preferred. Must be detail oriented. Experience processing Accounts Payable in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment is preferred but will train the right candidate.
Skills RequirementsMust be able to work within a multi‑disciplinary team framework; dependability; demonstrates maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity; confidentiality of customer information; ability to handle job related matters in a professional and diplomatic manner.
Requires heart for ministry and comfort working with poor and homeless families and individuals. Requires understanding of poverty, a high degree of maturity, strong inter‑personal skills, and the ability to work with low socio‑economic and diverse populations facing crisis situations in a professional and diplomatic manner. Knowledge of community resources available to homeless population.
Physical RequirementsHearing and speaking ability which allows for effective oral communication of information; physical, emotional, and spiritual stamina to handle job‑related issues and stress.
OtherMust demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States. Must pass applicable pre‑employment background screening procedures.
