Most account managers manage accounts. At Balanzly, you manage the financial backbone of businesses across the USA, UK, and Canada and you own it, end to end.

We're expanding our team and looking for an Account Manager who owns their client relationships like a pro.

You're the person clients trust with their numbers. From the moment they onboard to the day their financials are finalized you're the single thread that holds the relationship together. You'll work closely with CPAs, finance executives, and business owners who expect precision, clarity, and zero surprises.

This isn't a coordination role. It's an ownership role.

• End-to-end client relationships:
  Onboarding, delivery, retention, renewals. You are the account.
• Executive coordination:
  Liaise with internal CPAs and finance leads to keep every deliverable tight and on time.
• Reconciliation & finalization:
  Review, reconcile, and sign off on financial statements. Accuracy is non-negotiable.
• Proactive communication:
  Flag issues before clients find them. Be the advisor, not just the reporter.
• Relationship health:
  Keep client satisfaction high and be the first point of contact for escalations and queries.

• You've handled reconciliation and know the difference between a clean close and a messy one
• You can explain a balance sheet to a founder without making them feel small
• You manage multiple client accounts simultaneously without letting any one of them feel like a number
• Quick Books, Xero, or Fresh Books feel like second nature not something you Google
• You're proactive, deadline-driven, and obsessed with getting the details right

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a client-facing finance role
• Solid hands-on knowledge of bank reconciliation and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in Quick Books, Xero, or Fresh Books (preferred)
• Exceptional communication skills written and verbal, across time zones
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Prior experience at an outsourced accounting or finance firm is a strong plus
