Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

The role supports the Finance department with month‑end close processes, monthly accrual and prepaid calculations, balance sheet review, operational expense reporting, and intercompany transactions.

• Assist in month‑end close processes, monthly accrual and prepaid calculations, and balance sheet review.
• Prepare and review freight expense reports, including per‑unit trend analysis.
• Support pool reporting, contractual matters, and annual reconciliation.
• Prepare and report on quarterly and semi‑annual intercompany transactions in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Assist service centers with expense review, accruals, and other reporting.
• Review internal processes to ensure financial/reporting accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor monthly balance sheet reconciliations, track outstanding items, and lead monthly balance sheet reviews.
• Assist in preparation and reporting for the year‑end financial audit.
• Contribute to other Finance department activities and provide input for process improvements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accountant‑level experience.
• Strong process review and documentation background.
• Experience in a corporate environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Proficiency with SAP strongly desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and flexible.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hybrid role – expected to work on site 2–3 days per week.
