Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsible for supporting the organization’s revenue cycle by accurately processing payments, maintaining customer account balances, and ensuring timely collections.

• Process and post accounts receivable from all assigned payers within the expected turnaround time.
• Enter electronic remittance information from private and government payers into the billing system.
• Research payer websites and other resources to verify eligibility and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivable from the existing client base, ensuring resolution of customer inquiries and disputes.
• Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports to finance and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
