Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85k - $100k DOE
Position Overview:The Controller will lead a cohesive Accounting Department, reporting directly to the Principal of the organization, and working alongside 3 other individuals. This is a fast-paced and high-volume environment that provides extensive exposure to the business of construction.
Responsibilities of the Controller:- Managing all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Coordinating the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Administering and reviewing all financial plans for variance analysis.
- Supporting the month-end, quarter, and year-end close process.
- Ensuring 401(K)/insurance administration.
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies.
- Responsible for audit preparation and compliance.
- Supervising payroll and contracts.
- Prevalent industry experience.
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- Medical, dental, and vision (Single/Family) provided.
- 401(K).
