Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s full-cycle accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, budgeting, and team leadership. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining internal controls, and supporting executive management with timely financial analysis.

• Manage all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Prepare sales tax filings and assist with income tax support as needed.
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury management activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience managing full-cycle accounting in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
