Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue analysis
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and proper documentation
• Contribute to financial reporting, audits, and cross-functional efforts as the Staff Accountant

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-3 years of accounting experience

• Exposure to month-end close, financial statement preparation, and budget support
• Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliations a plus
• Staff Accountant will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books) preferred
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time management skills
