Key Responsibilities for the Construction Accountant:

• Manage job cost accounting for construction and capital projects
• Track budgets, forecasts, and project financial performance
• Review contracts, change orders, vendor invoices, and lien releases for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure timely collection and processing of subcontractor lien waivers and releases
• Prepare financial reports and variance analysis for project stakeholders
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and finance team

Qualifications for the Construction Accountant:

• 3+ years of accounting experience with construction or project-based accounting
• Strong knowledge of job costing and project financial tracking
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
