Senior Payroll Consultant

This role is designed to stabilize and optimize complex payroll operations during a period of rapid business scaling.

As a senior-level expert, you will fill critical operational gaps, provide oversight and guidance to our Payroll Specialist team, and deliver hands‑on execution across payroll processing, accounting, and root‑cause analysis. You will also support our managed payroll environment (
ADP COS/MPS
), requiring strong vendor coordination, rigid issue ownership, and end‑to‑end follow‑through on complex, integration‑driven challenges.

• Operational Stabilization: Support complex U.S. payroll operations, emphasizing troubleshooting, deep‑dive analysis, and absolute ownership of high‑risk payroll items.
• Functional Flexibility: Seamlessly pivot across functional areas depending on real‑time business priorities.

• Execute and oversee payroll processing within complex, multi‑pay group structures (salaried and hourly), managing varied pay timings.
• Investigate and resolve intricate payroll system integration issues, thoroughly understanding upstream and downstream impacts.
• Manage Tier 3 escalation cases, collaborating closely with the internal payroll team to deliver swift resolution.

• Perform comprehensive GL reconciliations, variance analysis, and payroll control audits

• Extract, manipulate, and reconcile massive payroll datasets using advanced Excel functions to ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate non‑invoice payments via SAP, specifically supporting expatriate populations and shadow/global payroll operations.
• Master the nuances of our internal systems to provide technical guidance and quality assurance oversight to Payroll Specialists.
• Manage vendor relations with ADP COS/MPS to track, elevate, and resolve operational bottlenecks.

Required Systems Expertise:

• ADP Enterprise Environments: ADP EV5/EV6, ADP Vantage, or ADP Workforce Now.
• HRIS: Success Factors.
• ERP: SAP (specifically for payment coordination).
• Data Tools: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (handling large data files, complex formulas, and VLOOKUPs/Pivot Tables) and SharePoint.
