Accounts Receivable Specialist (JN - Tampa, Florida
Salary: USD 22 - USD 26 per hour
We are seeking a high-volume Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for an immediate opening with one of our clients. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Process and post a high volume of customer payments accurately and timely
- Manage a large portfolio of accounts and monitor outstanding balances
- Perform collections activities and follow up on past-due invoices
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and billing issues
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate AR records
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve account concerns
- Support month-end closing and reporting activities
- 1+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related accounting experience
- Experience working in a high-volume transactional environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
