Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Supervisor:

Lead, train, and mentor the Accounts Payable team while overseeing daily operations.
Manage escalated invoice issues, payment exceptions, and vendor inquiries.
Monitor reporting, KPIs, and workflow performance to drive operational efficiency.
Oversee PO-based invoice processing, three‑way matching, and discrepancy resolution.
Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership teams to improve AP processes and support change management initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and quality standards.

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Supervisor:

5+ years of Accounts Payable experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
Experience with large ERP systems and high-volume AP environments.
Background in construction, manufacturing, or another PO-driven environment strongly preferred.
Experience leading teams through process changes, transitions, or operational improvements.
