Next Path Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an Accountant Assistant to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
Salary$45,000 - $48,000 (depending on experience)
We cannot sponsor or transfer visas. Only candidates authorized to work in the US without sponsorship should apply.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Understanding of basic accounting functions (AP/AR, journal entries)
- Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced onsite environment
- Enter and clean financial data in legal and accounting software
- Process accounts payable, including vendor payments and balance tracking
- Support monthly financial reporting and reconciliations
- Monitor and resolve vendor and account discrepancies
- Assist with financial reporting, P&L review, and process improvements
- Manage accounts receivable aging schedules
- Complete end-of-month bank reconciliations for operating and trust accounts
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across multiple systems
