Corporate Accounting Manager | Tampa, FL | Up to $125,000 + 10% Bonus + Full Benefits
As the Corporate Accounting Manager, you will be a pivotal player in building the corporate accounting infrastructure from the ground up, bringing structure, best practices, and operational rigor to a high-growth environment that is moving fast. The scope of the role consists of: treasury-style cash management across a large group of legal entities in a sweep and zero-balance account structure, multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations, corporate cost allocations, fixed asset and prepaid accounting, debt and interest entries, acquisition-related payment schedules, payroll cost analysis, and cash flow forecasting, giving you exposure that most accounting manager roles simply cannot offer.
You will work directly alongside senior accounting and executive leadership, and your professional presence and ability to operate confidently in those settings matters here as much as your technical credentials. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong Senior Accountant ready to step into management or an early-career Accounting Manager who wants to make a significant, visible impact at a company with real momentum.
If you are a self-starter who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments and brings the organizational discipline to manage competing priorities without losing accuracy, this is a role worth your serious attention.
- Manage cash activity across a large group of subsidiaries, including intercompany funding, transfers, and reconciliations.
- Support the recurring consolidated cash flow forecast at both the corporate and consolidated level.
- Support the monthly consolidation workbook and partner with the technical accounting lead on intercompany eliminations.
- Handle monthly debt and interest activity, and own the consolidated acquisition-related payment schedules, including deferred purchase price and contingent consideration, along with the related monthly interest.
- Manage the top-level holding entity monthly, including reconciliation of the master operating, fixed asset and prepaid accounting, and P&L review.
- Support ad hoc technical accounting work including purchase accounting and opening balance sheet requests, margin analysis, and company-wide labor cost studies.
- Own and improve the corporate cost allocation process end to end, including methodology, supporting schedules, monthly true-ups, and the recurring allocation cycles that run through it.
- Post payroll journal entries from the payroll platform, and deliver payroll cost analysis, reporting, and variance commentary to support close and business partners.
- Prepare and review recurring and non-recurring monthly journal entries.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices suited to a fast-paced, high-growth, multi-entity environment.
- Assist with special projects, report and model building, and ad hoc requests from executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Multi-entity accounting experience and a solid command of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience in structured environments, and ideally in unstructured ones as well.
- You must know what "good" looks like and be capable of building it.
- Public accounting or a large corporate accounting background.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently with minimal supervision.
- Technologically comfortable and at ease with evolving tools and platforms, including AI-assisted workflows.
- Professional presentation and executive presence.
- Polished and prepared in senior-level settings.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure without sacrificing accuracy.
- A foundational seat at a fast-growing, acquisitive organization.
- You will help build the corporate accounting infrastructure rather than inherit a mature, static function.
- Rare technical breadth: consolidations, treasury and cash management, debt and interest accounting, acquisition-related schedules, allocation methodology, and payroll cost analysis, all in one role.
- Direct exposure to senior accounting and executive leadership.
- Visibility and partnership at the highest levels of the organization from day one.
- A private equity backed, high-growth environment that rewards initiative, adaptability, and the ability to bring structure where it is needed most.
- A clear growth path.
