Accounting Assistant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting | Tampa, FL Position:
Accounting Assistant Pay: $22-$25 per hour

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for an established company in the greater Tampa Bay area. This full-time role will support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, and administrative accounting functions.

• Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable activities.
• Assist with client invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Support month-end reporting, data entry, and special projects.

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.
• Knowledge of A/P, A/R, and general accounting principles.
• Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, communication, and data entry skills.
