Thisisahands-onroleforsomeonewhohasmasteredthefundamentalsofaccountingandfinancialreportingbutwantstoexpandtheirimpactbeyondclosingthebooks.

You’llownthefinancialfunctionforaportfolioofapproximately5–7clients,manageanddevelopaccountingteammembers,andworkdirectlywithclientleadershipandcross-functional teams.

TherightpersoncanadviseaCEOinthemorninganddigintoabalance-sheetissuethatafternoon.

• Oversee day-to-dayaccountingandfinancialoperationsacross5–7clients
• Ownandreviewmonth-endclose,financial statements,reconciliations,journal entries,accruals,AP/AR,payroll,andothercoreaccountingactivities
• Ensurebalancesheetsareaccurateandfinancialreportingbothistimelyandreliable
• Maintainstrongaccountingprocesses,internal controls,and documentation
• Identifyandresolveaccountingissuesanddiscrepancies
• Coordinatewithexternaltaxprofessionals,auditors,andotherfinancialpartners
• Staycloseenoughtotheworktojumpintothedetailswhennecessary

• Prepareandpresentmonthlyfinancialreportingpackages
• Analyzerevenue,margins,expenses,cashflow,andotherbusinessdrivers
• Developbudgets,forecasts,cashflowprojections,andfinancialmodels
• Performvarianceanalysisandexplainwhatisdrivingperformance
• EstablishandmonitormeaningfulfinancialandoperationalKPIs
• Identify trends,risks,andopportunitiesandturnthemintoactionablerecommendations
• Helpclientsimprovefinancialvisibilityandmakebetterbusinessdecisions
