Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:Drive month-end close processes and contribute to the accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
Oversee complex reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll accounting activities across the organization.
Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting to identify trends and support business decision-making.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and strengthen the reliability of financial data and reporting.
Partner with leadership to improve processes, enhance controls, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:3+ years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
Demonstrated expertise in preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing financial variances.
Experience supporting payroll accounting activities is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and pivot tables.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
