Payroll Administrator

Ledgent is partnering with a growing company in Clearwater, FL that is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term potential with a well-established organization. The position will be fully in-office during training, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule once training is successfully completed.

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume payroll for employees across multiple states.
• Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time.
• Review and maintain payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and tax with holdings.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience required.
• Proven experience with high-volume, multi-state payroll.
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, and garnishments.
• Experience with payroll software such as ADP, UKG, Paychex, Workday, or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
