Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including posting transactions to the general ledger, managing vehicle inventory records, processing warranty and aftermarket paperwork, and accounts receivable/payable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Reconciling and posting daily deposits to the general ledger.
• Posting payable invoices, reconciling statements and processing vendor payments.
• Stocking in new and dealer trade inventory.
• Processing outgoing dealer trades.
• Processing warranty and aftermarket cancellations.
• Maintaining and reconciling accounting schedules regularly.
• Assisting with month-end close and special projects.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Experience with Tekion (or similar dealership accounting software) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
