Are you an experienced tax professional seeking a thrilling and rewarding career in the Accounting Firm. We are on the hunt for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you'll have the chance to make a significant impact. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, managing client relationships, and leading strategic tax planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

Preparation and review of complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, benefit funds, real estate, and exempt organizations.

Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of federal and state tax codes.

Assisting clients with estimates, projections, planning, and compliance in all areas of tax law.

Managing and fostering relationships with high-net-worth clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.

Working closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development.

Researching and consulting on various tax matters; utilizing tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters.

Responding to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience with a proficiency in preparing 1040 individual returns and other tax returns.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.

Proven experience with state and local tax, federal & state tax, tax preparation, income tax, and high net worth clients.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Proficient in tax software and technology to streamline the tax process.

Ability to manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals.

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, compliance, and reporting considerations.
