Our client, a reputable CPA firm in Tampa, is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant for an immediate opening. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity. Thisrole is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a public accounting environment, supporting multiple clients, and handling a variety of bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Full-cycle Accounts Payable processing
- General Ledger maintenance and invoice coding
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Small business write-up preparation
- Payroll tax filings and reconciliations, including Form 941 and RT-6
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities
- Support clients with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting needs
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Experience processing payroll tax filings, including 941s and RT-6s
- Accounts Payable and bookkeeping experience required
- Quick Books and Microsoft Excel proficiency preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a client-focused environment
