Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities as the Staff Accountant
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records as the Staff Accountant
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting as the Staff Accountant
- Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations as the Staff Accountant
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed while gaining exposure to the full accounting cycle as the Staff Accountant
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis as the Staff Accountant
- Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit activities as the Staff Accountant
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as the Staff Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Accounting internship experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment
- Strong exposure to full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
