Staff Accountant

We’re partnering with a fast-growing healthcare organization that is looking to add a talented Staff Accountant to its team in the St. Petersburg / Sarasota, FL area
.

• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with GL accounting and financial statement preparation
• Analyze account activity and research variances
• Support AP/AR and other accounting functions as needed
• Assist with process improvements and accounting projects
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader finance team
• Healthcare or multi-location experience is a plus, but not required
