Temp Experts is looking for a Paralegal / Legal Administrative Assistant with experience in Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate Finance practice for the firm's Tampa, FL office. This role combines transactional paralegal work with legal administrative support and is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a deadline‑driven environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare, proofread, and edit commercial real estate and real estate finance documents including leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, easements, and closing binders.
- Support and facilitate commercial real estate and finance transaction closings with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and other third parties.
- Maintain deal checklists, track milestones, and assist attorneys with follow‑up to ensure timely closings.
- Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, deadlines, and closings.
- Organize client files and attorney work product within the document management system.
- Submit new business intake, conflict checks, and open and close client matters.
- Enter attorney time and assist with billing, including pre‑bill review and edits.
- Answer and route phone calls and respond to routine client and internal inquiries.
- Perform general administrative duties including correspondence, file management, expense reporting, CLE tracking, and check requests.
- High school diploma from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of law firm experience supporting commercial real estate and/or real estate finance practices.
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, real estate finance terminology, and closing processes.
- Experience drafting transactional documents and coordinating complex closings preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with iManage and Aderant is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Client‑service focused with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional discretion when handling confidential information.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
