Position Overview
We are seeking an Intake Analyst in a clerical support role within our internal Conflicts Department in our Tampa, FL office. In this position you will report directly to the Director of Conflicts and be responsible for handling the new business intake and compliance process for the Department.
Responsibilities- Review and audit client engagement agreements and associated business retention documents related to the opening of new engagements for the firm;
- Update and maintain digital records associated with the compliance and intake process
- Evaluate information secured in the business intake process to ensure accuracy and adequacy prior to approval in the billing system
- Prompt and professional follow up with global personnel for additional information or for clarity of information as needed
- Conduct timely approval of new business requests
- Work alongside Conflicts Analysts to update database/digital records
- Assist with special projects and assignments as needed
- At least 2 years of experience working in a legal/law department environment
- College degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. The ability to approach individuals at all levels within the firm by telephone, email correspondence or in person with confidence and clarity
- The ability to solve problems in a methodical, practical way
- Ability to multi-task, follow-up/follow through, be thorough, prioritize and pay close attention to detail are required
- Must be able to function seamlessly in a time sensitive environment (i.e. handle urgent/rush requests, without sacrificing quality)
- Must be customer service oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Conflicts or Records databases or similar preferred

Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.
Salary range is $50,000-$75,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
