Position Overview
Executive Assistant – Provides high‑level administrative support to multiple Vice Presidents at Tampa Electric, handling confidential information, coordinating projects, and ensuring smooth office operations.
Storm Duty RequirementsTeam members are required to participate in emergency response and recovery activities during storms or disasters. Storm response is a condition of employment and will be compensated according to company policies.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to multiple Vice Presidents.
- Maintain appointment calendar, answer telephone calls, screen visitors.
- Prepare expense reports and process invoices and check requests.
- Open and prioritize mail, respond to correspondence, distribute mail.
- Make travel and lodging arrangements; keep VPs informed of details.
- Coordinate office activities: schedule meetings, reserve rooms, arrange refreshments, set up conference equipment, and prepare agendas.
- Assist in preparation of presentations, pull background information, conduct research.
- Collaborate with other executive assistants on projects.
- Perform additional duties assigned by Vice Presidents, directors, and management staff.
- Education: High school diploma required;
Associate’s degree preferred. - Experience: Minimum 7 years progressive administrative experience; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and independent work skills; demonstrable proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
