Division and MissionDivision of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) is charged with licensing and regulating State of Florida businesses and professionals, such as cosmetologists, veterinarians, condominiums, hotels, and restaurants. Our mission is to license efficiently and regulate fairly.
Job SummaryThis position is located within the Bureau of Compliance of the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes. It is part of the administrative assistant team and is responsible for the administrative functions in the office.
Responsibilities- Open and process incoming complaints and send acknowledgement letters to the public.
- Answer and route telephone calls and coordinate reception duties, including greeting visitors to the office.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Monitor supplies and manage all aspects of purchasing and vendor contact, including repairs and maintenance.
- Coordinate and complete public records requests.
- Review consumer complaints routed in the Department's Document Imaging System, open compliance cases in the Department's Licensing System, and assign complaints to the appropriate staff members.
- Track walk‑ins and ensure they are properly entered into Versa.
- Assist with hiring packages for new staff members, including scheduling interviews, collecting applicant documents, compiling information for the hiring package, and forwarding documents to the Division HR Liaison.
- Arrange travel schedules and reservations, maintain the calendar(s) and coordinate meetings for the FEA and IS teams.
- Perform other related work duties as required.
Two (2) years of relevant experience in customer service and administrative functions.

- Good writing and reading comprehension.
- Customer service oriented.
- Strong time management and coordination skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports.
- Proficiency in the use of technology including software, hardware, and data systems.
- State of Florida retirement package: 3% employee contribution required.
