Summary
The Supervisor Administrative Operations provides leadership support and supervisory oversight to the department or program leadership team for administrative and program office operations. Responsibilities include daily operations, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, administrative support to Department/Division Administrator, supervision of support staff, ensuring efficient workflows, coordinating faculty and APP administrative needs, overseeing purchases and inventory, maintaining SOPs, and other duties assigned by management.
Minimum Education- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or a related field (business, finance, social work, psychology, or other).
- In lieu of a bachelor's: associate degree plus 2 additional years of relevant experience for a total of 7 years, or high school diploma plus 4 additional years for a total of 9 years.
- Five (5) years providing administrative support in an office, academic, research, or healthcare setting.
- One (1) year of proven supervisory/leadership or project management, training development, or process/program improvement experience.
- Proficiency with office processes and workflows and advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office organizational procedures.
- Ability to communicate and partner with a wide variety of people and personalities internally and externally.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with little to no instruction.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong critical thinking and proactive action.
- Mentor and subject‑matter expert in all administrative support tasks.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; proficient in calendar management and spreadsheet tracking.
- Capability to develop processes to improve efficiency and clarity.
- Experience in hospital, research, or academic setting.
- Human Resources and Training Development experience.
- Process Improvement Training.
This is a hybrid/float position requiring 2 to 3 days on site at Moffitt ambulatory clinic locations as needed.
Salary Range$56,071.60 – $85,599.80 (base pay range; actual compensation may vary based on location and other factors).
