What You’ll Do
- Support Client Onboarding
- Ensure accurate setup in CCH Axcess with complete required fields (e.g., email, engagement details).
- Help with document collection, up fronting, scanning, and final delivery of tax engagements.
- Coordinate signoff and delivery processes for client deliverables.
- Assist with Client Support
- Help tax professionals with client communications and document preparation.
- Support scheduling and coordination of client meetings, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared in advance.
- Direct client inquiries and provide timely responses to maintain client satisfaction.
- Manage client meeting preparation and ad-hoc engagement needs.
- Manage Tax Return Delivery & Compliance
- Ensure timely delivery of tax returns via Safesend, binding, mail, and e-filing.
- Execute Administrative Coordination
- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, scanning, and backup receptionist coverage during breaks.
- Support the Practice Area Manager in departmental initiatives and priorities.
- Organize and maintain accurate client records in firm systems.
- Support data collection, document scanning, and client follow-ups for tax engagements.
- 2+ years of experience working in an accounting firm, particularly tax administration.
- Competent computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets, as well as databases and customer database systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of CCH Pro System or Axcess and Document a plus.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment, readily adapting to continually changing priorities & deadlines.
- Available to work additional hours when necessary during tax season (OT rate will apply).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

This position is onsite located at any Saltmarsh office (Pensacola, Tampa, or Orlando).
