Department Secretary
Bay Care is currently in search of our newest Department Secretary who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. The Department Secretary provides essential administrative and front-office support for the Bay Care Health System, Rehab Pedi-SJCH team. This role is often the first point of contact for patients and families and plays a key part in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient experience.
Responsibilities include scheduling, registration support, communication coordination, documentation management, and general clerical assistance to help ensure smooth daily operations for clinicians and patients.

Department Secretary Responsibilities:
- Provides general secretarial support to the department
- Maintaining records, scheduling and coordinating meetings
- Managing inventory and ordering of supplies
- Greeting and directing patients, visitors and team members
- Word processing and computer program use
- Directing calls
- Recording minutes at assigned meetings
- Time and attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Required
Education:
- High School Diploma
Required Experience:
- 1 year
- Office Related - 2 years
- Preferred
