File Clerk

Must Have The Following In Order To Apply

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience as a file clerk

• Experience in the legal industry is preferred
• Electronic document management systems is a plus

• Organizational skills (communicate well, both in writing and orally)
• Customer service skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential

Background Checks.

• Assist with maintaining and updating clients files and records on a daily basis
• Electronic filing of legal documents within the firms document management system
• Monitoring and uploading federal and state notices and filings as needed
• Responsible for opening files for new client matters
• Scanning client files/ records into the firms document management system
• Assist with closing out client files and records, following the firms closing procedures
• Back-up other File Clerks when needed
