** Summary
* * As a Patient Access Scheduling Coordinator (PASC) at the Moffitt Cancer Center, you are responsible for registering patients as they arrive for their visit and for scheduling any orders and appointments requested by the patient’s care team as patients depart within all clinics under direct supervisor. As part of these processes, you are responsible for gathering accurate information, explaining forms and policies, and answering questions from our patients.
Focus on scheduling and communicating with patients for future appointments from request lists. Must be comfortable with medical terminology and thrive in an environment with many competing priorities and demands. This position provides administrative support responsibilities associated with one or more outpatient clinics. Is responsible for accurate appointment management and correct coordination of all administrative information between professional staff and the patient.

Required:
** 1. Ability to meet, communicate, and interact with individuals from varying backgrounds and other health care team members in a courteous and helpful manner in order to complete job assignments.
2. Ability to set up, organize, and maintain record systems.
3. Customer Service, multi-tasking, computer and typing skills, use various types of office automation equipment and software, and interpersonal communication skills both verbally and written.
4. Strong attention to detail while being able to multi-task and maintain patience and composure (with customer service etiquette) in stressful situations.
5. Possess strong critical thinking abilities such as problem solving, root cause analysis, and provide timely solutions.
** Salary Range**$17.17 - $25.90
