About The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Automotive Dealership Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles while delivering the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician with advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems who enjoys solving complex diagnostic challenges and working with today s advanced automotive technology.
You ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles leave the shop operating safely, reliably, and at peak performance.
What You ll Do- Diagnose vehicle concerns by inspecting engines, mechanical systems, electrical components, and electronic systems
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures, electrical issues, fluid leaks, drivability concerns, and system malfunctions
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning vehicle components
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues
- Perform preventative maintenance, including fluid changes, lubrication, inspections, and scheduled services
- Recommend future maintenance and repair needs based on vehicle condition
- Help educate customers on proper vehicle maintenance and care recommendations
- Prepare accurate repair estimates, including labor, parts, costs, and expected completion timelines
- Document completed repairs, inspections, recommendations, and diagnostic findings
- Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop work areas in clean, safe, and organized condition
- Follow all dealership and OSHA safety procedures while working with vehicles, tools, equipment, fluids, and chemicals
- Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician
- Strong understanding of automotive mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Experience using advanced diagnostic equipment and computerized repair systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to safely operate automotive tools, lifts, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to safely work with automotive fluids, chemicals, and equipment
- Physical ability to perform hands-on vehicle inspections and repairs
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certifications (higher compensation available for certified technicians)
- Master Technician experience
- Experience diagnosing advanced electrical and computer-controlled vehicle systems
- Dealership service experience
- Strong background using OEM diagnostic software and repair procedures
Compensation & Benefits
- $35–$50 per hour
