Position Summary
The Procurement Analyst supports mission‑critical objectives under the referenced work order by tracking expenditures, managing procurement cycles, and ensuring contract compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition policies. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and expertise in federal procurement regulations to support efficient and compliant acquisition activities.

Job Description- The Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting procurement operations through detailed analysis of expenditures, procurement performance, and contract compliance. This includes managing purchase orders, tracking procurement milestones, and ensuring budget alignment with operational and program requirements.
- The role involves analyzing procurement data, supporting cost forecasting and estimation, and optimizing procurement workflows to improve efficiency and transparency. Personnel will ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements through accurate record‑keeping and documentation.
- Additional responsibilities include supporting procurement audits, analyzing contract data, and utilizing acquisition software and federal procurement databases to track performance metrics and ensure regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, documentation, and financial tracking skills are essential to support decision‑making and audit readiness.
The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; or
- A minimum of four (4) years of equivalent professional experience in procurement analysis or acquisition support.
- Tracking expenditures and managing procurement cycles.
- Applying FAR and DFARS processes to acquisition activities.
- Managing purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Analyzing procurement performance metrics and budget alignment.
- Supporting cost estimation, contract analysis, and procurement audits.
- Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and federal procurement regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis, cost forecasting, and financial tracking.
- Experience with acquisition software and federal procurement databases.
- Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping skills.
- Ability to support compliance reviews and audit activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) (Preferred, Not Required).
- DoD Financial Management Certification (Preferred, Not Required).
- An ability to obtain and maintain a clearance if needed.
