* Job Description:

** The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the coordination of the work of all Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite for completion on time and on budget.
** Some things you can expect to do:
*** Administer project safety per Ryan safety policies and procedures and develop a job specific Job Safety/Hazard Analysis for their portion of work.
* Manage subcontractors in the performance of their work.
* Develop and understand a CPM computer-generated schedule and be able to track that schedule.
* Understand the entire construction budget and work within their portion of the budget for their work.
* Read and comprehend blueprints, plans and specifications in order to give proper direction to project personnel.
* Assist with material procurement.
* Work efficiently and independently.
* Enforce site specific Project Safety Manual.
* Engage in Quality Control practices.

* Job Requirements:

*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random and post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
* Successful completion of union-required training programs, or equivalent.
* Problem-solving abilities.
* Valid documentation.
* Show leadership skills.
* Ability to make sound decisions.
* Must be able to remain calm during stressful situations and work through any challenges or issues that may arise.
* Must be able to know when to ask for help when a job task exceeds their skills or abilities.
