CRM System
Benchmark International, a global mergers & acquisitions firm, is seeking a GTM Operations Analyst to own the outbound engine that turns our ideal-client profile of mid‑market business into qualified sales conversations. This is a technical, systems‑oriented role spanning prospect data, email infrastructure, sequencing, and enrichment: the end‑to‑end machinery that puts qualified seller and referral‑partner conversations in front of the sales team.
The successful candidate is someone who builds and runs outbound infrastructure from the ground up, obsesses over deliverability and inbox placement, and treats outbound as an experiment‑driven system, prioritizing efficiency, compliance, and quality with backend revenue results.
Key Responsibilities- Own and operate the outbound email engine end to end: sending‑domain infrastructure, mailbox provisioning, warmup pools, deliverability monitoring, and inbox placement across the sending stack.
- Build, test, and optimize outbound sequences in the sending platform (Instantly, Smartlead, Plus Vibe, or similar), with personalization at scale.
- Design and build Clay (or comparable) enrichment and signal workflows to identify, enrich, and qualify seller targets using firmographic, ownership, and intent signals to the data standards set by the data‑management function.
- Manage list building and prospect‑data preparation for outbound campaigns: sourcing, verification (Zero Bounce or similar), and segmentation.
- Maintain deliverability hygiene: SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, bounce and spam monitoring, blacklist checks, burned‑domain replacement, and adherence to suppression and do‑not‑contact lists.
- Own reply handling and routing (positive replies to the sales team, opt‑outs to suppression, conversations logged in Hub Spot), protecting both speed‑to‑lead and compliance.
- Build and monitor outbound reporting: reply rate, meetings booked, engagements and pipeline sourced, and deliverability health.
- Partner with the data‑management function on enrichment strategy and data quality, and with marketing operations on CRM handoff, lifecycle, and attribution.
- Continuously test and refine sequences, copy frameworks, and targeting; document the system so it is reliable and transferable.
- Collaborate with the sales development team on results, sequence campaign feedback, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in GTM engineering, growth or revenue operations, outbound/sales engineering, or a closely related B2B discipline.
- Proven ability to build cold outbound infrastructure from scratch: domain setup, DNS authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), mailbox warmup, sequencing, and deliverability management.
- Hands‑on experience with sending and sequencing platforms (Instantly, Smartlead, Plus Vibe, or similar) and warmup tooling.
- Real Clay (or comparable) experience: multi‑step enrichment workflows you have built yourself, not pre‑built templates.
- Experience with a variety of data providers (ideally, Zoom Info, Apollo, Cognism, Clay, Data Axle) and email verification tools (Zero Bounce, Never Bounce, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Hub Spot for outbound handoff, reply routing, and attribution; comfort with API and webhook integrations.
- Strong grasp of email compliance (CAN‑SPAM) and suppression/DNC discipline.
- Analytical, systems‑minded, and self‑directed, with the judgment to own a revenue channel end to end.
- Strong written English and copy sensibility for outbound sequences.
On‑target earnings of $80,000–$90,000 annually, consisting of base salary and performance‑based incentives. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and achievement of performance objectives.
