Operations Management, BD Manager
We are looking for an organized, professional strategic leader to join as a VP Technology Enterprise Infrastructure.
ResponsibilitiesVision, strategy, direction, and leadership in the development and implementation of all information technology infrastructure and systems projects and initiatives.
Leadership: Coach, train, and manage assigned staff; ensure adherence to Credit Union and departmental standards; prepare timely evaluations; provide direction for growth and development; set and meet department goals and performance metrics; oversee staffing needs and performance. Foster a work environment that promotes positive energy, creativity, and teamwork.
Production: Provide 7x24 production support for all infrastructure components with 99.9% uptime; manage strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of IT processes, systems, and resources; prioritize multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment; develop and manage department budgets; define and implement infrastructure strategy and standards; establish performance goals for each area within TS and direct reports.
Strategic: Collaborate in planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of new or enhanced technology; develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards that comply with SOX; understand P&L and capital budgeting; manage day‑to‑day TS department operations; align IT vision with company goals; maintain relationships with industry peers; oversee vendor relationships; serve as business partner; develop and implement short‑term and long‑term IT business goals;
lead business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
Operational: Demonstrate functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and related federal laws; bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
Qualifications- Undergraduate degree in Business Management or related field;
Master’s Degree preferred. - Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of progressive management experience (or equivalent). Minimum 7 years of demonstrated leadership in managing staff, groups, and major technology projects.
- Strong business‑focused technology enablement experience with proven ability to drive business results.
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels, including board members.
- Ability to deliver on day‑to‑day technology needs while forward‑thinking.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance, P&L management, and capital budgeting.
- Experience with network, security, and enterprise infrastructure components.
- Location:
Downtown Tampa – GTE Headquarters. - Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm; full‑time with potential additional hours. - Hybrid in nature (in‑office, at‑remote); remote candidates must live within driving distance.
