Director, Home Health Administrator

Leading Faith-Based, Not-for-Profit Health System | Home Health & Hospice Division

Port Charlotte, FL | Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Site

COMPENSATION RANGE: $96,266 – $179,046 + Comprehensive Benefits Package

If you are leading a home health agency right now, you already know the truth no industry report can fully capture: you are running a high-stakes operation in an environment where caregiver turnover hovers near 80% annually, CMS rule changes arrive faster than your team can absorb them, and every staffing gap quietly threatens your referral pipeline. You are expected to be the clinical authority, the financial steward, the compliance officer, the recruiter, and the hospital liaison — often without the operational backbone to do any of it the way you know it should be done.

This

role is built differently.

You will lead an established, accredited home health agency that sits inside one of the largest, best-resourced, faith-based health systems in the country — with the back‑office infrastructure, talent acquisition support, and clinical reputation that lets a director actually direct, instead of fighting for the basics.

Our client — a Forbes‑recognized, not‑for‑profit health system that serves approximately 4 million unique patients across more than 2,000 care sites and 57 hospitals nationwide — is seeking a Director, Home Health Administrator to lead its Port Charlotte, Florida agency. You will own the day‑to‑day operations of the agency, oversee clinical, operational, and financial performance, and serve as the primary point of partnership with hospital leaders and care management teams across the West Florida market.

You will not be working off the side of a desk in a fragmented agency. You will be plugged into a fully integrated continuum of care with a dedicated talent acquisition partner, a clinical AI advisory infrastructure, and a system‑level compliance and quality apparatus that most independent agency administrators can only dream of.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
  • Genuine Leadership Autonomy — You run the agency. You are accountable for clinical, operational, and financial outcomes — and you are given the authority, the budget visibility, and the policy‑making latitude to actually move them. This is not an administrator role rebranded as a director.
  • Meaningful, Mission‑Aligned Work — The organization is faith‑based and not‑for‑profit. Care decisions are framed around whole‑person wellbeing — body, mind, and spirit — not quarterly EBITDA pressure. Your QI committee, infection control program, and patient‑experience initiatives are funded as core mission, not as line items.
  • True Multidisciplinary Collaboration You will work side‑by‑side with hospital leaders, care management teams, intake, scheduling, utilization management, and a 24/7 RN clinical‑supervisor structure. You will not be the only experienced clinical voice in the building — and your team will not be siloed from the larger system.
  • System‑Level Resources Behind You — A health system that ranked #1 on Gartner's Healthcare Supply Chain Top 25 (2024 and 2025), an integrated talent acquisition function, system‑wide HR partnership on personnel matters, and a clinical AI advisory board mean you are not personally improvising the operational playbook. The infrastructure is already there.
  • A Real Day Schedule — Full‑time, day shift. This is a role designed around predictable working hours so you can lead at the agency during the day and actually go home at night — a structural difference from the on‑call, reactive grind that drives burnout out of so many home‑care leaders.
  • Employer Investment in You as a Whole Person — Benefits start Day One. Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. Whole‑person well‑being resources, mental health support, pet benefits, tuition support, and a faith‑based culture recognized by Forbes (America's Best Employers by State; Best Employers for Veterans), Newsweek (Greatest Workplaces for Diversity; Most Trustworthy Companies; Most Innovative Companies), and Becker's (150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare, 2024).
