Business Process Engineer

The Business Process Engineer supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by supporting process improvements and workflow optimizations across EDA program operations. This role supports the transition of the program into a DoD Program of Record and aligns program objectives with DoD acquisition frameworks. This future opportunity is contingent upon award.

The Business Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing and improving business processes and workflows. The position requires developing documentation and recommendations for operational efficiency. Engineers will support transition of the program into a DoD Program of Record. The role includes aligning program objectives with DoD acquisition frameworks.

Required Qualifications and

Experience:

The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field; or a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in business process engineering. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas: process improvement methodologies and workflow optimization. Developing requirements traceability matrices and capability development documentation. Aligning program objectives with DoD acquisition frameworks. Supporting DoD Program of Record transitions.

Stakeholder coordination and documentation development.

Required Skills and

Competencies:

Expertise in process improvement methodologies and workflow optimization. Working knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks and JCIDS processes. Proficiency in developing requirements traceability matrices and capability documentation. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Ability to support program transitions and governance alignment.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Lean Six Certification (Preferred, Not Required). PMP (Preferred, Not Required). KM Certification (Preferred, Not Required). CBAP (Preferred, Not Required). Clearance Requirement:
No clearance required for off-site duty location, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance as specified by the program.
