The Tone:
This is a part-time, temporary internship at Refresco, located in Tampa, FL. Refresco is a major beverage manufacturing company, offering a busy and hands-on environment. This role is crucial for providing valuable support to key organizational functions within an assigned department, allowing the intern to contribute directly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Interns will gain practical experience, develop industry knowledge, enhance communication skills, and foster professional growth over a 3 to 6-month period.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Reporting & Accounting Support:
  Assist with the preparation of daily operational reports, such as labor, orders, and shipments, and contribute to the month-end accounting close process and broader financial reporting efforts.
• Financial Analysis:
  Support the finance team by helping with financial reporting, conducting cost analysis, and assisting with operational budgeting to ensure accurate financial management.
• Process Improvement Project:
  Manage an assigned project specifically focused on continuous improvement within the department, contributing to increased efficiency.
• Documentation & Learning:
  Learn organizational processes and procedures, assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records, and maintain various logs relevant to the internship function.
• Professional Development:
  Shadow experienced professionals to gain direct exposure to best practices within the beverage manufacturing environment and comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

The Must-Haves

• Background:
  Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. This is an entry-level role.
• Experience:
  
  Must be at least 18 years old and possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher in your declared major.
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to a hands-on environment with changing priorities. The role also requires a team-oriented approach with effective collaboration skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Bonus:
  An interest in business operations and organizational functions within the beverage manufacturing industry, along with flexibility and sound judgment.
