Job DescriptionJob Accountabilities:
- Customer & Market Intelligence – Build strong relationships with marketing directors and commercial teams at key customers, including Pepsi Co, KDP, Monster, Refresco, and other strategic accounts. Proactively gather insight on innovation pipelines, promotional strategies, category growth expectations, and channel shifts across retail, club, convenience, and other channels. Translate customer strategy into early demand signals, volume and mix implications, and clear risk or opportunity flags.
- Commercial Strategy Support – Partner with Sales leadership to shape account strategies, annual plans, pricing objectives, volume expectations, investment levels, contract priorities, and promotional strategies. Identify growth pockets, margin risks, and clear objectives for key commercial activities.
- Forecasting & Demand Planning Input – Convert customer and market intelligence into demand assumptions and scenario‑based forecasts, including base, upside, and downside views. Challenge and refine forecasts using external market data, customer insights, consumption trends, and historical performance.
- Competitive Intelligence – Track and interpret competitor pricing behavior, capacity investments, customer wins and losses, and promotional patterns. Develop decision‑ready insights on where Crown may be over or under priced, where competitors are investing, and where share shifts are likely.
- Market Analytics & Reporting – Own and elevate quarterly consumption reports, retail and scan data interpretation, category growth trends, and share analysis. Move reporting from what happened to what it means for Crown and what actions should follow.
- Executive Communication – Lead preparation of C‑suite presentations, strategic updates, customer opportunity assessments, and board‑level insights as needed. Simplify complex data into clear, actionable business narratives.
- Internal Alignment & Cross‑Functional Leadership – Bridge Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Strategy to ensure one aligned view of demand, market reality, commercial priorities, and business implications.
We are seeking a senior strategy and customer growth leader with the experience, analytical capability, customer orientation, and executive presence to anticipate market shifts, influence commercial decisions, and strengthen the quality of customer strategy, forecasts, and investment choices.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Packaging, or related discipline. MBA preferred.
- 10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in B2B commercial roles, market intelligence, commercial strategy, revenue growth management, commercial finance, or key account strategy.
- Strong exposure to the consumer packaged goods, beverage, packaging, or ingredient supplier ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Customer‑facing experience is critical, including experience working with large enterprise customers and senior customer stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel, data modeling, forecasting methodology, and scenario planning skills.
- Strong ability to interpret scan data, consumption trends, macro indicators, customer insights, and market data, then connect findings to business implications and action.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Nielsen, Circana, IRI, or similar analytical platforms preferred.
- Deep understanding of pricing strategy, margin dynamics, revenue growth, volume and mix trade‑offs, and customer economics.
- Ability to challenge sales assumptions constructively and support fact‑based decisions.
- Exceptional executive storytelling, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Confident interacting with customer marketing directors, internal senior leadership, and commercial stakeholders.
