Account Executive, Health & Wellness (experience with Health clients is a must!!)
We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join 5W's
Health & Wellness practice. The ideal individual will have worked with Health & Wellness based clients within an agency setting, is an expert at pitching, and possesses superior account and time management skills. Here you'll be doing:
- Manage team workflow and take ownership of account work while driving consistent media results.
- Create and develop media materials - press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies, etc.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prominent members of the media in order to ensure placements
- Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall PR strategy
- Execute and advise on PR strategies and collaboratively develop strategic media plans
- Create and develop pro-active pitch ideas for clients based on industry, current trends and various announcements
- Monitor media and seek out speaking opportunities for clients as "experts in their field"
- Daily client interaction to update, report on and discuss strategy and results
- Assist in the research, writing and development of new business proposals and presentations
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior-level staff
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients
- Develop and manage organic and paid influencer campaigns for both organic and paid programs
- Monitor and engage with relevant influencer social media accounts
Here you have:
- S/B.A in Public Relations or related field
- 2-3 years of PR agency experience, specifically with Consumer
/ Health & Wellness based clients - Must have experience and interest in influencer relations
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong leadership and motivation skills
- Proven client relations and supervisory skills
- Creative and energetic personality
