Part Time Advanced Technician - Nursing

Position Summary

Hiring compensation range: $14.42 - $15.37 per hour depending on qualifications.

• Provides advanced secretarial and administrative support to the nursing office.
• Supports the nursing office with the facilitation of clinical placements for programs within the nursing department.
• Assists with student clinical clearance for the Nursing Department.
• Maintains confidential student health documentation (i.e., immunizations, screenings, background checks, etc.).
• Communicates with student and faculty regarding questions and concerns via email, telephone, and in-person.
• Prepares and sends emails regarding student requirements for the Nursing Program.
• Participates in nursing orientation and information sessions at all three campuses (Plant City, Dale Mabry, South Shore).
• Assist Nursing Program Coordinator.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Two years of prior related work experience.

• At time of application, submittal of Form DD214 is the minimum requirement for veterans' preference claim.
• The selected candidate identified for this position will be required to successfully complete a Level II criminal background check, which includes fingerprinting.

• At least a Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Public or Education Administration or a closely related field.
• At least ten years of prior related work experience.
