ORGANIZATION MISSION:We prepare youth and young adults to be ready for college, career, and life.
POSITION SUMMARY:The Membership Coordinator’s role is to maintain the front welcome area, provide courteous and quality customer service, and ensure the safety of Club members. The Membership Coordinator performs administrative tasks necessary for the proper maintenance of membership records, including the maintenance of the membership tracking system, My Club Hub, and to provide all necessary clerical support for the Club Director and other program staff.

Leadership
- Model the mission, vision, ICARE values, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay; and the principles and practices of non-profit organizations.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and various team-oriented activities.
- Supports and maintains a productive work environment while working as a member of the team.
- Excel in customer service to effectively communicate with Club members, staff, and visitors to include parents, volunteers, or other community members.
- Answer incoming calls to the facility, respond to inquiries via email and phone calls.
- Assist staff members in the absence of other youth development professionals or work on some weekends and/or extended hours for special events and/or programs or support other Club locations within a reasonable geography.
- Maintains daily contact with Club Director, Club staff, members, and families.
- Prioritizes member and club safety through active supervision and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Actively participates with members and collaborates with colleagues to create a positive environment with clear and respectful communication.
- Data entry and updates to information contained within the membership tracking system, My Club Hub and member file management which includes gathering necessary documents and authorization forms.
- Manage daily sign-in and sign-out processes which include verification of parent or other approved adult identification.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have intermediate computer knowledge and skills. Experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook preferred.
- Complete the required 40 hours of DCF training within one year of employment, including any training due within the first 90 days and all required in-person exams.
- Successfully complete organization sponsored CPR training within 90 days of hire.
- Additional training may be required for continuing education and professional development.
Travel may be required to multiple Club facilities throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Pinellas counties for training and professional development or other business purposes.
