Drywall Estimator​/Project Manager; Florida GC License

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator / Project Manager who holds a valid Florida General Contractor (GC) License. This individual will be responsible for estimating drywall scopes, managing awarded projects, overseeing budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful delivery for our clients.

• Prepare accurate drywall take-offs, estimates, and proposals.
• Manage multiple drywall projects from bid to closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, GCs, subcontractors, and internal field teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and manpower plans.
• Oversee field execution to ensure quality, safety, and profitability.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to project teams.

• Active Florida General Contractor License (GC) required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating and project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and building codes.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

• Salary Range (Tampa Market): $85,000 – $90,000 base salary (depending on experience), plus performance incentives.
